SHOULD EVERYONE HAVE A RED DEVIL?????

I think RD are beautiful but I have never owned one.

What is it that people love about these fish? I would like to hear some owners remarks and if you think that everyone should have at least one RD. and why?

If you can have only one 6ft tank is it worth it to put a RD in it our would you rather have a few SA cichlids?

Nasty fish with a good personality...speaks for itself really. I'd recommend labiatus and citrinellum alike.

People like them because there "glass bangers" but i dont think there for everyone , most cannot be housed with other fish and some keepers dont like single species tanks . great fish to own i kept mine in a 90 by himself and bit me often

Can't go wrong with Any Amphilophus. Devil, Midas, and Mid-devils are one of the entrance drugs to the cichlid hobby.

I keep one alone in a 90 ive never been a big fan of their colors bit the personality more than makes up for it they are interesting to watch and highly interactive. Ill probably go pure trimac next similar personality more appealing color imo

Maybe you can keep two midas's in the tank or maybe mix it where one fish can defend against the Midas?

i used to have 2 of them and they turned out to be a spawing pair. got very agressive when they did. I really like them but gave them to someone with a much bigger tank because my tank wasnt big enough for them along with the other fish in it. If i could i would get another one
