Like the title says. Awhile ago i bought two baby bichirs to grow out and add to my tank. Well i dumped a small sen into my tank to see if it would be eaten since i didnt want to take the chance with my teugelsi(witch committed suicide).

At first i thought my endli was gonna eat the sen. It stalked and snapped at it alot. Well after a bit the sen was living happily with the other bichirs even laying next to the big bichirs. My sen had been left alone for many months, but now as you see its no longer safe. I never thought my lap would be the one to try to eat another bichir.

Also i did save the sen. I put it back in the grow out with another small bichir so it can heal and give me some time to figure out what to do with it.

Those guys are very unpredictable. Sorry..., nice try though :)

I hope he gets better.

Besides some scuffs on the top of the head and the indignity of being drug around by the head the sen got of lucky since i was around to catch and stop the act.

I had to move my senegal, my big ornate started snapping at him. Didn't see it ending well. So I put him in my 4 foot. I forgot about the kuhli loach in there though. Saw the same thing you did but the senegal was in the better position lol. The kuhli wasn't as lucky as your sen though!

if the lap looked to be quickly swallowing my sen i may have skipped the picture. Wish i had a better camera then my phone. But just had to share.
