I just got a 6 in Pleco from a meaningful friend who had to get rid of him. Right now he is in a quarantine tank and I'm not sure if I should put him in my 30 gallon community tank with an angel, 1 pictus, 3 cory cats, and 3 glass cats. I've never had a Pleco before so i just don't know what to do?

they are messy but unless you are underfiltered you should be fine. They make a good addition to any tank and they tend to grow pretty slowly so it should be quite a while before he outgrows it... and cause you are a member here I'm sure you will upgrade to a monster tank down the line after being inspired by others on here!
