Should I add something to this set up?

I have a 55 gallon set up with:


Blue Acara 3 inch
Yellow Acara 2 1/2 inch
Rainbow cichlid 2 inch
(2) Jaguar catfish 4 inches


I was thinking about either adding a firemouth or a small group of schooling fish. What do you guys think? Any suggestion/comments? Thx

Hahah, it would be lunch/dinner. I actually have a little colony of cherry shrimp breeding to be snacks. Mostly for my catfish.

Firemouths would be cool. More cichlids couldnt hurt as long as its well filtered, I love jaguar cats !
Edit maybe grab a banjo catfish too !

another peaceful species of cichlid would be good, like Krobia itanyi or one of the Bujurquina species

i would get a small school of giant dainios as well, in addition to another cichlid or two
