Here's the deal, I've got 1.2 (1 m 2f) G.steindachneri currently about 2.5" in a 55 gallon tank and I'm trying to decide whether or not to move them into my main tank. The male is chasing both females a lot but seems to be more tolerant of one of them.
Main tank is a 150 (72"x18"x 27") currently housing 1.2 Australoheros oblongum, 1.2 Crenicara punctulata, 2.2 Geophagus parnaibae, unsexed Hemidoras stenopeltis and several unsexed corydoras.
So, do you think the G.steindachneri male will become a bully in that tank or will the rest of the fish give him enough of a challenge so that he will chill and mingle.
