Should i add these to my car?

Hi, i was wondering if y'all think that these lexus style lights would be a good addition to my saxo?....in another thread i have been told to ditch the spoiler/wing (http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86062)....which i have done and sold....so what do all you car freaks think to these lights? thanks

I agree with the no spoiler idea, but if you like the lights go for it. I can never leave a car stock, always have to do something to make it unique.

Honestly, what's the vibe over in the UK with those? Are they a big hit or does every car have them and people make fun of them?

Over here in the U.S. They've become kind of a joke. But it's because they're cheaply made and most leak when it rains causing condensation buildup and every teen gets them.

Most importantly do you like them? Do stuff to your car to suit your taste and not the taste of others. Way too many people like to tell other people what looks good or what doesn't and people take that strangers taste as being the over-riding factor. I find it sad that you ditched the wing for that reason.

Take anyone from the U.S. tastes on that car and modifications with a grain of salt because most don't understand the U.K. car scene and haven't even ever picked up a copy of Max Power.. Hatches are a big thing over there and what most people have to work with over there from what I understand.

not that many cars that i have seen have them...well the more modern ones do but they come standard.....i am thinking of them...and i do like them....im just curiouse to see if other people like them on MY car thanks

My opinion? I think these "euro" lights are actually cheapo lights. i would be more inclined to lower it a bit or de-badge and remove the side moldings for a more streamlined look. Get some tint for the glass too.

What I think you fail to understand is that the whole point of putting on tail lamps and "sooping" up your car is PURELY for IMPRESSION. We all want that "wow, that looks cool" feeling from other people admiring our rides, not to mention our FISH.

yeh i agree with crash...its about what other ppl think....as well as my self...i want ppl to think that my car is unique....which it already is with the exhust tip and the alloys lol but still...
