Not sure if i am posting in the correct place , Move please if it nedds to be .

But basicly my tank looks a bit bare too me , i love the wood in there ,

i know there is a little too many fish in there but i am moving a few out soon .

I'm looking to add a little something to the tank to make it less empty ,

i dont really like any of them ' chessy ' Ornaments you can buy , the more natural look is better in my eyes , so i was thinking on some nice looking tall maybe bushy fake plants in the corners .

I was thinking something like this .

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Exo-Terra-Med...14&_trkparms=72:1296|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Exo-Terra-Sil...14&_trkparms=72:1296|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318

What you think ?

Pictures under nearth ( sorry for my crappy camra phone shots ) .

i would say add them, i have alot of drift woould in my tank and thought that it looked good, but it looked alot better im into the natural looking tanks also

Cool thanks i was going to get them but i wanted someones opinion on this too .

Bump !

Anymore thoughts about adding plants to my tank and any thoughts on where to get the fake plants from ( silk would be best ) , apart from Ebay .

i would add amazon sword looking plants :) i like that huge chunk of driftwood.

i think they would look great! i have a tank with driftwood and a few large drifty plants in the back 2 corners-it adds color, and hiding spots for the fish..

Great , deffently getting some then .

Navygirl you got any pictures of your tank with the plants in ?

not yet- im waiting for one more piece of driftwood to come to me (i bought it off an ebay seller, and it was shipped yesterday). as soon as i get it in the tank, ill take pics for you all and add them to my fish album!

i bought my fish at a store called Hobby Lobby-its like a craft store. they are fake fabric plants-and cost less than if i bought them at a lfs! lol

Definitely get some plants in there. If you think it looks empty, fill it. I love the look of a propery decorated tank.

Thanks , im going have alook on the 'net for some decent looking silk plants soon .

I dont really want to fill it up to much but just alittle extra in thier IMO would look better .
