i have a standard 55 gallon tank.

the fish are

4 cherry barbs
4 danios
2 pictus
2 cons
2 firemouths
1gt

i think im ok with established territories becuz the fish really dont have one(they are all like 1 inch)

the only problem is that it seems to me that the 2 firemouths seem to be different sexes. they look so pretty for such a young age ill have pictures to wow u soon. they seem to square off every now and then. wut if they pair up once they grow..... will i be in trouble???

plz help guys

You'll probably have problem in the future esp between the cons and the GT, the pictus cats will probably never get a moments rest due to being pushed here, there and everywhere by the territorial cichlids. I afraid if the FM are placid they will also be in trouble. The barbs and Danios are target fish and will most likely be short lived aswell. Do you know what sex the GT and the cons are cause if its a Male GT and a pair of cons that tank will be dangerous.

I wouldnt do that. give fish space and they will look better, and live longer

sounds okay to me, give them plenty of hiding spots, but if those little cons breed, it's probably be a tank of cons and a GT only. But sounds okay.

For now they're fine. You'll eventually have to move the GT if you expect on keeping all the other fish in that 55.
The barbs and danios will eventually be eaten.
Female cons can spawn with one another when left no other choice. Obviously, no viable fry but you do get the spawning related aggression. It is also very possible for them to hybridize with your FM. Not really an issue unless you figure you want to save and distribute the fry.

cons, and fm, will start owning those smaller fish
