Sorry in advance for the weak cell phone pictures but it's all I got.

My flowerhorn has some sort of growth on the right side of it's mouth. It is eating fine and shows no weird behavior? Could it just be damage from digging pits or should I be worried?

happened to my flowerhorn... my lfs flowerhorn expert told me its "duckbill" caused by hex. it started on his lip, then he grew a bulge on his cheek.. and then it bursted into an open wound. i treated with API general cure and aquarium salt. go to aquatic-central.com. learning center > flowerhorn > tips from chris. thats the store owner that gave me the tips on how to cure my FH. hope it helps.
