should i be worried?

i was looking at MINION friday night and saw that he wasnt bieng his normal self,
that bieng said i saw that he stayed unactive laying his belly on the sand and staying under the filter,for a very very long,this morning hes just there with his belly on the sand,but when i walk to not by he comes to me and swims around,i havent had time to sit in front of the tank and give him the attention i always have from work,family.etc..
is he feeling sad??i nknow its wierd to say but thats the way hes acting if i go to his tank he comes out and swims and looks more happy but if i pass by his tank hes not the same hes just there looking at me??????? but as soon i leave nd turn back to seee him he stays there waiting and looking at me and 5mins later i see that he sees im not coming and he swims back under the filter??or his cave

First thing I would check (if you have not already) is what your water parameters are looking like. Other than that have you made any changes to the tank at all lately? I've have personally seen behavior like you're describing with my own Puffers but it did not last too long. Mainly it was after changing something though.

I'm pretty sure that sometimes when fish just hang out next to the filter it's a sign of low oxygen levels ( but I could be wrong on this and someone please correct me if so). Maybe add an airstone or another if you have one already and see if he perks up.

i watch him for a while and he opens hes tail alot,and just watches hes reflection on the glass????
he has a 18inch airstone on the back of the deco,followed by some live plants wich i read help with oxygen??and i just came back from my lfs and everything came good????

as for changes non,i dnt know what the problem could be??
