The 5 bar can be alittle agressive espeialy to their own kind beuatiful but tough. So what ever goes with him should have some attitude I thik they get to 5 or 6 inches.

On second look I think you are right that is a front looks like a burundi.

I have a frontosa colony. I have kept them with peacocks and haps. Now they are in a 220 with synodontis, brichardi, compressiceps, and leleupi.

Remember, they grow a lot bigger than most Africans and will need a bigger tank. If you have the space, go for it.

Go for the front is fairly peaceful his tankmates should be peaceful fish too as the agressive mbunas and such will nip his fins. Also give him some places to hide as they are a little shy.
