I don't see the gph anywhere on it, busdriver. I'm betting you could find a stronger filter with a lot more gph for a lot less. Even those Sun Suns and Catalinas (which are Eheim knockoffs) will last for years. I've had several $50 Catalinas (300 gph) for years and they're going strong. I know some people like name brand but I've had great luck with knock-offs.

i think the ecco was at 156 and the classic 2215 was 160 and 2217 was 200 something...

Ive seen much higher gph for less but im not sure what to buy im afraid their are gonna be a cheap ass knock off and im gonna just loose out on my money was thinken eheim would be best with so many great reviews...
