So I found a guy on another site advertising this for sale: Breeding colony of Neolamp Multifasciatus for sale with 55G tank, with tank stand etc and 25 adults with over 25 babies. How much do you think this is worth? Tank, stand, tops, lights, and breeding colony.

A little feedback please....

That is probably worth close to $450. That is just my opinion though.

The fish alone run $5 to $10 each plus shipping. 55gal tanks used tanks run $1 to $3 per gallon depending on material/condition. Stands run $20 to $120 depending on material and finish. Then add in filtration, decor, etc. and you're looking at $300 to Chad55's estimate.
BTW, these shell-dwellers are easy to breed and popular due to their small size for nano tank keepers.

There are more than 40 fish in the tank, its glass with tops and lights and homemade wooden stand that it built for 2 55gs, and its close enough to go pickup without extensive driving....and he wants less than $200.

def buy it if u have the room and it is less thn 200$.

If that deal was near me, the setup would already be in my truck. You could sell half the colony to get all your money back and still have a good sized breeding colony.
