So right now in my 75 i have 10 inch venny pike, 8 inch jack dempsey( for sale tho), full grown convict(will be moved to mate with female), and a 5 inch mala wolf fish. The lps has a 6-7 inch mayan cichlid( the false red terror) for $10 because i know the kid who runs the store. In about 3 months i will begin setting up my 150. Do you think its worth buying and trying out or know. Should also mention im growing out a jag for the tank too.
Should i buy this cichlid????

I would do the Peacock bass over the Mayan but I don't think you have a big enough tank for either. Good luck.
yeah i think mayan would tear that tank up in the mean time, they are quite aggressive and yeah like stated peacock bass get to big unfortunately (otherwise i would prolly have a tank full of them haha)
yea i passed but my buddy is buying the mayan for his 125. Its not too aggressive like my old mayan i traded in thats why i was thinking about buying
I would probably wait until you get the bigger tank set up. You should be able to find Mayan cichlids around.
