Hi, I'm very new to keeping snakeheads, so far I have a Blue Pulchra, and I was wondering if I should keep the filter on (lowest setting), or should I turn it off?

put it low, they dont need oxygen in the water tbh. But keep it on since it also helps with ammonia nitrate etc.
They prefer slow moving water but you should never turn a filter of for long periods of time since ur bacteria will die when water doesnt move.

ohh, I see, it's a sponge filter. Thank You for the info??
You're very welcome. Just think of it as the heart of your aquarium. Please ask lots of questions if you're unsure, its best to be safe than sorry and no question is silly or stupid. Best of luck to you!
