Today I bought a single piece of acrylic as a top for my 100 gal acrylic tank (the previous owner threw the original tops in the trash:hitting: :nutkick:) . I put it on and shortly afterwards there was condesation build up on it. Shoul I drill some holes in it to allow the tank to breathe? Or will it be fine? I want to keep the lid (?) in 1 piece the canopy holds it down and hopefully it will keep my aro in.

I'd recomend drilling holes in it. You'll get a lot better gas exchange at the serface.

Depends why you put the lids on... to keep the fish in or to prevent evap, or both. I run a w/d so I don't worry about gas exchange too much, and I don't have holes in my lids. if you drill holes and get rid of the condensation problem, you'll have less worry of sagging/bowing as well though
