Should i euthanize him???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
holy s***...I truely HOPE you didn't allow that to happen to a fish in your care...

Yea, looks like a goner..........if nothing else you need to get him out of that tank and then treat that tank with something before your other fish starts dropping.

He doesn't look like he has long...so if you aren't willing to QT him, treat with anti fungals and salt...then the human thing to do would be put him down....how....does that even happen to a pet...

African cichlids often beat the crap out of each other.

ya I know. My question was how does the owner allow it to occur for a long enough period of time that they look like that. I can understand torn fins, and missing scales, but not that.

I have him in quarantine. I uped the temp and salts. Its been a week since so far
But i think ill have to treat whole tank
Wasnt sure if fungal or something else

Looks like a combo of fungal infection which probably came from him getting beat up. He doesnt look good, I'd probably call it quits for him.

Any meds out there that dont require removal of carbon
