Hi all
recently started feedking my silver Aro's crickets but was wondering should I feed my crickets anything to help put nutrients etc into my Aro.
Or for any reason should I be feeding my crickets?
Thanks.

I used to feed my cricket's oranges.
They also make a gel that most pet stores should carry, that is real good gut-load for your cricket's.

I calcium bath my crickets for my tree frogs. Don't know if that applies to aros, lol.
what you feed your crickets will go into your fish, so feed good stuff, not "cricket food" haha

Definitely gutload the crickets before you feed them otherwise they're not that nutritious. Most pet stores only feed the crickets they sell potatoes and oatmeal. Basically crickets are what they eat so I gutload all my crickets with tropical fish flakes, dog kibble, leftover veggies and crushed cereal. So far I haven't had any complaints from my fish, lizards or turtles.
