It could be a feeder but it looks like a barb to me! I don't recommend feeders personally. If he's hungry then why aren't you feeding him with a proper diet?

I've had the barb since it was little but have no clue as to what species it is. If it's a desirable fish that I could give away and make someone happy, than I won't feed it.
