Should I Get a Half Banded Pike

The LFS has several "Half Banded Pikes" for sale. I have not been able to find much about them with my searches on the internet, except that they are probably c. geayi. Anyone have much experience with these guys? How is the aggression and max size?

If I were to get one, it would go in my 180G. Current residents (and I know the stock is heavy) is:

5" Synspilum
5" Chocolate
4" Severums X 3
3" Blue Acara
3" Honduran Red Points X 3
3" FM X 2 (both males, I think)
2" JD
4" nicaraguense
3" BN Pleco X 3
3" Rainbow

like you said. that is a heavy stock. i think since they are all young and small. that it would work.

for what a half banded pike is... there are alot of common names that are thrown out for pikes and they arent very reliable. i wanna say i doubt its a cr. geayi since i dont think that they are commonly seen in the trade.

if you can post some pics, we can probably identify it.

like he said.. but 180g tank is pretty big for all them juvies tho
