How long could I house a RTC in a tank 8'x2'x20"? Have TSN and Cichla in there as well as some smaller bottom dwellers. I love the look of these fish but dont want to put the fish through problems if I cant house it for at least 2-3 years in this tank. Maybe a TSNxRTC hybrid would be a better choice, how big do these get and how fast.

Im pretty sure you could keep an RTC in that tank for a year. The TSN you have in there will not last long either, nor would a hybrid. However Ive never kept any of these fish, so I have no experience. Im sure someone with some experience will chime in pretty soon.
My TSN is about 11" and steadily growing 2" a month. I should be able to house him/her for at least another year. Maybe I will build something or pass him on to one that has a 500g.
all of them grow fast!!! i would think abot doing a ply build or look on craigs list to find a cheap tank on there. my gf and i needed to get a bigger tank for ours with in a week i forund a 250 that im traidin strait acrost for my 150 full set up and a 400 that i only payed 200 for. so just keep your ear to the grownd and i would get a new tank befor you get a rtc, that tsn is going too get almost as big just as fast
