Should i get a wounded Lapradei?

Lapradeis are only seen once in a while at LFS in Malaysia, and I just discovered a nice 6 inch one with clear patterns going for $20. Problem is... it has a pretty banged up lower snout, its lower jaw is peeled back and bleeding, probably from colliding with the tank.

Should I get him, and hope that he heals up, or should i just wait and risk loosing out on a nice bichir....

Get it. Bichirs are incredibly resilient, and it will heal quickly with good care.

^ Agreed. I've had two girls come to me pretty beat up in the nose/lip area, and both have healed 99-100%.

Plus, you get to potentially save a fish's life.

They had a female that was perfect and a male missing an eye. I bought the female and mentioned to my girlfriend that I should of got the male so she went back up there and got him for me as a present
