Hi,
I have two male (?) firemouths around 2 1/2" each. They spend most of their time flaring at each other or me when I get close to the glass. They don't bother any of their tankmates, just each other. The guy at the LFS said to buy one more firemouth to spread out any aggression. I'm not looking to get a breeding pair or anything, just want to make sure they're not stressing each other out. They're currently in a 72g tank with one 8" GT, two 4" EBJD, five Tiger Barbs and two BN Plecos. Everyone gets along just fine with no aggression since they all know the GT is in charge
What do you guys think?

unless they are literally beating each other i wouldnt bother,eventually they will establish who is boss between them and things will go on
