Found these on Craigslist, havn't seen them yet, but I'm wondering if its a good deal.
They are p. senegalus. Here's what the guy told me about them

"I have one female and male they get along great! they are polyterus senegalus. the female is about 6"-7" and growing while the male is a stubby 5". As for a price, hmm... i bought them when they were really small, like 2"-3" and had for about 1 1\2 -2 years now. I'd like $25 for the pair."

Good deal? I already have a 3.5" sen, and was hoping to find a delhezi or some other patterned poly, but if this is a really good deal, and it's close enough I could settle for 2 more sens if they will all work together.

What ya guys think?

I don't think it's a deal at all. You can get sens for 5$, and his claimed "pair" is most likely not a breeding pair. 10$ would be a good deal.

Size is a little on the short side for something he's owned for that long. I'd prefer to buy a few from a LFS and grow them out. You should get them to that size within half a year.

Yeah that price is barely retail...heck no. Can't stand when people put stuff on craigslist expecting to get retail for thier fish...its for "adoption" anyway, quit trying to sell your fish people

Thanks guys. That's why I asked cause in Pullman my 3" Sen was ~$12 but I had a store credit so I didn't worry about it too much. Its the only lfs in the area that I trust to have healthy fish, so I don't complain about the prices.
So, I'll save my money for a delhezi or something. :D
