Should I give away my fish?

I have two fish that I am very attached to. My comet and my shubunkin. I had another shubunkin with them, but he passed away yesterday morning... well, I guess two mornings ago now.

I am thinking about giving them away. It does not feel right and anyway, they are dirty fish and I cannot really afford it. I'm sure if they were moved to a bigger tank all would be better.

What should I do? Post around my college campus "free goldfish"? Go to Craigslist?

Help please.

if you cant care for them or get them a larger tank then yes i would give them away to a knowledgeable person, who can take care of them.

it sucks having to give fish up but some times its for the best,
and yes i would try craigslist

id go with craigslist.

not saying college people cant look after them but ur more likely to find people looking for fish there.

CL works or you could also look for a local fish forum, or just take them into your LFS if that is a possibility.

Yea, I ended up finding a LFS that will take them.
Hopefully they will sell to a good home.
