I have gars around 14 inch and 1 gar which i recently bought around 5 inch should i try to keep them together i cant just go and experiment cause its almost impossible to save the small one if attacked bye larger ones given the difference in size???? And yeah he isn't eating raw meat or sticks

I wouldn’t do it esp if they are true gars.

big ones are for sure gator gar and its hard to tell for small one its maybe a gator or Florida or shortnose cause i havent seen if it has two rows of teeth or not
That's not a good way to identify gars. It's a bit hard to see the teeth at that size. Instead look at the snouts. If it is broad like the your alligator gar, it probably is one. If the snout is thinner and more narrow, its probably a florida or spotted gar.

If its a Florida or short nose then should I try to keep them or not

if the 14'' one is an alligator gar, don't put it with any smaller fish until it get old enough and calm down from all the killing.
