I have a 6inch Female Fh and i just got a 3inch male should i keep them apart? also how long do you think it will take for the male to grow to the size of the female .

I think it is best to keep them separated. how long do you think it will take for him to get her size?
Split them up only if you have to. If she isn't trying to kill him then they'll be able to get used to each other.
