So today i resealed a 20 gallon tank that will hold some fish while my other tank gets ready for setup. I sealed it and i believe it will hold water the the tool i bought to spread the silicone made a mess. Should i cut the unwanted silicone away or just leave it since it wont be a permanant home?

If your a neat freak and you know what you cut wont break the seal, then I would definetly cut it. You will want it cut if you decide to make it a display tank one day or if you wanna sell it. If you don't care to look at a sloppy mess or you have a feeling it might leak if you cut it, then leave it. Hope that helps.

i dont believe if i cut it anywhere near the joinst of the tank it will leak. I'm just gonna cut some small peices here and there to make it a lil neater
