I can't tell if it's full of eggs or sick. Its bent at a 45 degree angle and it's stomach is VERY distended. Any thoughts?

Looks as tho it has bloat to me, which is most often caused my a bacterial infection stemming from poor water quality in most cases. Of course, it could have just eaten to much, or as you said be full of eggs. Personally, no, I wouldnt put it back in my main tank, I would find something bigger to put it in tho until a determination could be made on what is wrong with it, or it expires..

My water quality is awesome. But that doesn't mean it can't still be bloat.

My issue the bend, I've never seen a bend in a fish before other than pics of deformities. Its eating in the betta cup. I threw a pellet in there and it topfed.

Looks like dropsy to me too. The way it looks is far from being full of eggs.:)

Hammer or a neighbor cat .... Or keep it isolated til you figure out what is the problem./.. Oddball wrote a killer treatment and Diagnosis on Bloat not too long ago...
