I bought a new tank and he had it set up with no leaks but it was a saltwater setup and his sand had little worms that ate at silicone. He said it held water with no leaks and I refilled it here in my back yard and no leaks. I cleaned and dried it and this is what it looks like

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Do you think those little holes will eventually let the water creep through ? As a precaution I can just throw a layer of silicon on top of all previous silicone ?

If, you are comfortable with resealing, not rebuilding then yes I would, Resealing a bit of a pain, best to do before the tank leaking, once the tank leaks resealing not an option any more, have to rebuild. lotsa vids on resealing, not expensive but takes a bit of work. From picks, I would reseal. My 2 cents.

Okay I was hoping it would be as easy as just throwing new layer of silicone on top of the old one but I'll check the videos so I do it the most effective way

Silicone on silicone doesn't bond well, needs to be removed and re-done if going down that route

Oh man a lot more work than i thought lol, so I can just use a deglaze tool and scrubb off all old silicone clean Iy up and dry it then throw my new one on and smooth it out with my finger

well thats a little over simplified, prep is everything when resealing, take your time. biggest thing you need to be sure not to do is sink the razer blade between the panes. you just the cove out.
