should i reseal my tank

just got a new used tank it holds water but i was wondering if you folks recomend resealing it and how to do so wen the tan has a corner overflow in it

What kind of condition is the tank/silicone in? I found this post useful on resealing http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=261403&highlight=resealing rubbing alchol or vinegar works well for cleaning the area to be sealed.

If the silicone still looks good, then I wouldn't bother.

thats what i was thinking it looks in pretty good shape ill leak tet it and thump on th sides for a week or so and see wat comes it was another regular customers tank so im hoping its water tight was told it is

tank is setup on back porch holding water i will let it sit until thursday this time for the leak test then start cleaning and refurbing the cabinet
