Thanks. I hope the eggs are good. I guess I will know for sure in a few days. The male had his first batch with my parrot and the fry are all little pink things. I will try to get some pics of those but they are still pretty small.

thats sweet congrats. what size tank is it? i was hoping to do the same thing sometime down the road

It is just a standard 55 gal 48" tank. If they continue to get along and produce decent fry I will move them to a new 120 gal that I just set up.

About half of the eggs hatched. I have lots of fry and seperated them from the parents. I have them in a little 5 gal with a sponge filter. I also still have a bunch of fry from the male and my parrot. I may be looking to find the male a new home as I am quickly running out of tank room and have found what I consider to be a nicer male. I know this is not the classified section but I thought I would mention it. I know there are a few of you looking for a fertile male like this.

im stupied i though the blue rock was the egg.lmao
