As far as temps and dissolved solids tolerance go, which end of the spectrum will they do better at? Cold and super-clean or warm and usual? Are most feeder guppies wild-caught and mass-bred?
They're much hardier than fancies. I'd say warm, or even a little cooler (76 or so) and usual. As for how they get made, I'd guess they're bred in big farms like goldfish and other feeders, but I'm not totally sure.
Yeah. I would probably have to trace back to the source to find out how many generations removed they are from the original stock. I'll soon introduce some endler genes for a deeper gene pool.
I suppose they are pretty easy to maintain all-around. I shouldn't have too much trouble once they settle in and are cured of their weird gill fluff.
