In my area peacocks and haps are scarce and thats what kind of tank im planning on doing for my 110g. Giving the price and the whole trial and error thing with these fish is it something i should try? to get sexable fish online where i plan to cost 20-30 a pop and they will be 3"-4".

You can always buy them much smaller for much cheaper, grow them out, and separate the females along the way. Then you could even set up a female only tank separate from your 110 (like a 55 or something small like that) and move a male over on occasion to give you fry to sell locally. If you're in an area where the fish are scarce, you could make your own market, and African cichlid fry are really easy to care for.

I buy most of my fish online. I have received large fish, but mostly small ones. You can get really good prices and save on shipping if you get a bunch from the same location. If you get the larger one i would say Next day air is a must. With is being a large order of large fish you will probably get them via an airline provider. If you need help with a good vendor let me know. I often find that the local stores in my area have poor quality and variety.
