Fish, like humans have a circadian rythm that keeps them healthy. circadian is a 24 hour cycle witch is the time allowed by the particular animal to eat, exercise,and rest the body too muc hlight is not good not enough is not good. this is just a basic rule of life, you photosynthesize, (take in x-rays from the sun wich we all need some of or esle we will all dye) then you respirate (converting the x-rays into diff essential vit and min we could not obtain any other way).....Turn lights off for min of 12 hrs14-15 works for me!
