Use these fish as to cycle my tank?

no room for them in the work tank :irked:
4 taiwan reef baby
2 some blue cichlid with yellow fins

yeah i don't see why not either...they are not really hard to catch once tank is cycled...there's plenty of other ways to cycle tanks but thats one of them
 
You don't have another tank you can take filter media or gravel or anything out of to help the cycle along?

I have to strip down my 75G now, I guess "THEY" will have a wonderful time with my datnoid :irked:

my dat tank is barebottom, the media is in the canister filter, but its running full capacity with no room to spare on my overstock tank :cry:

You could take some of the media from the canister and add it to the filter of the tank you are putting them in. No, it wont instant cycle...but it would help some.:)
 
Sorry, just thought of...do you have anything in the tank..like driftwood, or anything you can move temporarily?

Anything would help to jumpstart the cycle. Take some media out of the canister and put the new filter. Anything from a cycled tank...gravel, decor, fake plants, media...
