discrepancy in size is a little much, but since it's a longnose that's bigger i don't think there should be a problem with the gars. the turtles, however, are never a good idea to keep with fishes...especially gars. this detriment to gars from this combination has been seen time and time again in the past--

i havent seen any problems as of yet with the turtles, but i do know how unpredictable things are with gars. and i think i will wait to put the F/S in there. im just gonna leave the turtles alone for now but if i see any problems i will remove them.
It really is not " if " you see a problem.... It is when you will see a problem.. You will have a problem and it is going to happen eventually. Turtles and Gars are very poor choices for housing together.
