Thats an awesome price. I would take it in a heart beat. The price alone would be for the fish. Depending on what specie and size that would for $75 or more. So basically your getting the tank and filter for free. I would make sure there's nothing wrong with the tank 1st though.

Buy the tank, then sell the africans to lfs. Even if you can make $3 a piece (which is a little low) thats $36 dollars off. 75-36=39, so you could be getting all that for 39 dollars. Then stock it with whatever appeals to you.

well I went and looked at the tanks today
the 'african cichlids' turned out to be Convicts 7 normal and 4 pink
and the 55g is actually a 75... I don't think the seller knows that.
both the 75 and the 20H look clean with tank/stand/hood
100 bux for both.... dont ask me what I am gunna do with them haha
are adult convicts worth anything at all?
or are they destined for a hot date with my buddy's arrowanna? lol

Wow awesome pick up. I would see if i could get atleast some store credit for the cons. Even a few dollars each you could end up with $20-30 bucks.
