If you have at least a 200g with suitable tankmates, powerful filtration and ready to commit to this guy, go for it! Good size, fare price and very nice colors. Keep him on krill, blood worms and other worms and insects. Those will keep the red tint.
 
i have a 210 gal..lol and my FL. gar who's about an inch or two small than him.. So is that a Yes?
 
Okay I did it Im taking the step in bcoming a Monster fish keeper, an Arrow and a Gar I think thats enough monsters for my 210gal. tank
 
its a silver and should work if your tank is at least 6x2

You are aware that a silver aro will require a bigger tank then your 210g eventually?

What good is volume without dimensions? bloodworms and "other worms" and insects dont have karotene...how will they promote the red tint?
 
Well my aunt has a 1,000 gallon pond in her backyard should the big guy need the space.
