Alright well I currently have a wolf fish and I just dront like how he is not very active and is too aggressive for me. So I've been thinking about taking him to my lfs and they will buy fish. With the extra space I wanted to get another bichir because I have 2 and I really like them but there just the common ones and I would like to get an ornate. Would an ornate bichir be a better choice to have then a wolf fish?

I'm looking for a bichir because I love the personality of the two I have but I'm just hoping that they are more active then my wolf.

yeah i would. get rid of the wolf fish and get another bichir.

I called and they told me they have albino and palmas. I looked up palmas on google and they look just just the plain old senegal bichir. Is there any difference in color? They also have bigger ones (over 1') but idk if i am ready for a bigger sized one yet.

they told me they have albino and palmas

step 1. go see if its really a palmas

Yeah, if I were you, I'd trade it in for another bichir. Palmas can get a couple inches bigger than sens, and depending on the kind of palmas, can look completely different from sens. But like Cerbios said, you should go to the lfs first to make sure they are really palmas and not just mislabled senegals.

Definitely i will. i am going tomorrow with my tiger Oscar and wolf. The Oscar because i got him from a friend and don't have the space and hes also a pig. And i will take back the wolf cause hes about as active as a rock....

I got my first sen from them about a year ago so i am hoping they have more then just those but they always got different oddballs
