Should i?

i have a 55g that is divided 50/50. there is a 8" delhezi on one side and on the other side, 3 small dats and two senegals. One senegal is 3" and the other is 5". the big sen is harassing the little sen. Should i move teh larger senegal to the delhezis realm? note that the delhezi has eaten 3 2" danios before and is used to eating fish that are not intended for food. And the senegal is much thinner than the del.

Is there any way to just move the 3" sen to a seperate QT/growout? Thats the safest bet imo. You can try moving the larger sen to the delhezi's side, but don't be suprised if he starts getting picked on; especially since the delhezi has likely already "claimed" his territory.

If you don't havea grow out tank you could move the smaller sen to, I'd move the big sen over. That's my personal opinion, but not a particularly strong one, because it's based only on somewhat sketchy info.

I think you could try it and just watch for aggressiveness. Poly's usually just snap each others tails, so I think you could always switch back if you noticed anything of that sort happening. That armor isn't very tasty.

Yeah id try putting the big sen in with the bigger del,it should be ok.

I'd just transfer the bigger sen to the tank with the del. I'd also add some hiding spots in their too...
