i have a female salvinixfiremouth and she is laying eggs but her boyfriend is a EBJD. i want to get her a new boyfriend a male salvini. And the EBJD ate the last eggs she lay today.

you could see what results from this cross, then next time try with a salvini... maybe remove the EBJD after breeding if he tries to eat the eggs again.
ea i would keep trying the current pair for a long wile. eventually the male will stop eating eggs and they will get the breeding down.
or you could just remove the eggs (if they lay on something removable). incubate them in another aquarium to prevent the egg eating.

well no eggs but i think i will wait intill she get a little older to mate her with a male salvini. if anything else happen i will keep u guys update.
