Ive been contemplating adding stingrays to my 7x3x2.
Filtration
allpondsolutions pfc 5000(suitable for 5000 litre ponds)
48x16x17 sump
12000 litre sump pump
100 litre of k1 media
Tank inhabitants
1x 14 inch fly river turtle aka katie!!
5x 7-8 inch wide bar silver dollars
7x 7-8 inch tinfoil barbs
The problem i have is the frt, she has been kept with fish all her live including stingrays at her previous home.Now i have heard a couple of incidences of this working but they have been heavily out weighed by horror stories of frts "turning" i would be more so worried for katie as she is such a joy, would she die if she was stung? could do and i dont think i could live with that?
Ive researched rays for a long time and my faves include bosemani and p14, but most likely start of with some marble motoro or hystrix as they stay small and are available here in the uk.
What are your guys thoughts?
