Should MFK have a koi/goldfish section?!

Well, Why not? After all, they grow into MONSTERS!

So, they may be the puppy dog of the fish world, but who doesn't love a big under water puppy?!

Koi grow up to 32"- Ok, so there are tons of other fish that grow bigger, but what about girth? These guys get big, and massive. I've had the honor to witness full grown koi in person.. and wow! No pictures can do them justice.

This can also put to rest all of those "is this a real carp?" -post pic of guy holding big carp- because yes! They DO get that big.

My entire fish keeping all started with a $7 goldfish, in which then turned into me buying my first fish tank.. which ended up being 150 gallons- which eventually got sold- as we built an indoor 1500 gallon koi tank- but then we happened to buy a 75 gallon, and stocked it with tropicals.

I know there are people on here that have koi, and while there are koi forums, why not just go to MFK and get all the info in one place? I know that would be ideal for me- and I'm sure ideal for others as well.

So complete the poll- Let's make this happen!!!!!

I keep koi and would post in a koi section if there was one. Koi are becoming my favorite fish in the hobby after 30+ years. Nothing more relaxing than watching koi swimming in a pond.

I feed Koi to my peacock bass and giant red tails... So considering koi are like gold fish and are used by some as feeders they should make a "feeders" section and put the koi there!

My fish eats yours

I've always considered "Monster" in title only and that all types of fish could/should be talked about! I would be good with adding a a section like are other subsections

Koi are worth more than you peacock bass and also get more "monster" in size.....

Azul - $300

Xingu - $320

Koi - $$$???? Really get that expensive?
