When I built the new pond almost 2 summers ago, I put in some comets, which have gotten to a good size, probably around 8-9 inches each. But a little later in the summer, I threw some minnows in as well for the turtle to eat. 2 of them survived. These 2 turned out to be carp. They probably 12 inches each and are black with white bellies. They eat everything, and I love them. Unforutnetly, my pond is about 150 G. There's lots of space, but I know they're just going to keep going.

Should I remove them soon?

Filter is 600 GPH. Water quality is always perfect.

Unfortunetly it's a preformed. I wanted to go liner but my Dad didn't want to deal with it. It's 2 feet deep and about 6 ft. long...here's an old picture. The water is all the way to the top right now and it's covered with plants.

^Night has just fallen here. I'm going to try and snap a few quick pics tomorrow if it's not raining.

^Yesterday while I was feeding them, it felt like seaworld. As my turtle was waiting on the edge of the pond to be fed, a pretty good sized splash hit my legs. I guess the carp were telling me they were hungry. :)

eat them! when my tilapia got too big for the tank my farther cock it!
