I have a guppy with a couple of fry my Double tail Betta is making sure nothing happens to them. In fact he pushes food to them is this normal?

Sorry, lame attempt at humor. Chumming is tossing cut bait or other "fish attractants" into an area over and over. Basically, it's enticing fish into a central spot.
Sorry, my reply wasn't helpful at all, but seeing a betta pushing food to guppy fry in my mind, well, this was the first thing that popped up
To answer your question, no, it doesn't seem normal to me at all. Very, very cool maybe! But not normal

My male Betta guards my platy fry, so I get your confusion. I just take it as it is, hey, free babysitter!
