Will it be ok if i put a 8 inch Silver Arowana with a 13 inch shovelnose catfish??
I ask because my Silver is getting to big for his 45 gallon tank and i want to know if i can move him to my 100 gallon tank..

cat might try to eat the aro... i have a 21" silver with 3 12" tsns they are fine...the aro should be bigger then the cat as smaller fish it my eat...you also need a much bigger tank then 100gal for those fish...

dont risk it

no of course not

Ive heard stories of cats swallowing arows that were the same size or bigger, most of them being rtc, gulpers, or hybrids rtcxtsn. Not worth the risk. The arow should grow relatively fast but the tsn bieng so much bigger I wouldn't risk it. Just upgrade tanks now. Put the arow in the 100 to grow some more and put the tsn in the new bigger tank. You will have to upgrade anyways. Better sooner then later. good luck

any of the fish with the slender body, like aros and knives, are easy to swallow for any of the big cat or gulper species. that would be one exspensive feeder.
