Shovelnose catfish

Any info on these fish? I just got one for christmas? I currently have it in a 55, Does this fish get big, What the average size?

Well if its a TSN.. It's gonna grow huge.. 4'+.. They will eat anything.. Including any fish it can fit into its mouth.. And they grow fast...

yeah get rid of it fast! you cannot house them in anything smaller than a 400 gallon aquarium. no exceptions.

Thanks for the info. Cant just get rid of it though, its a nice fish. I have a secondary catchment tank in my back yard right now. Its a doughboy type tank holds I think 4000gal. Ill try to raise it in there when it grows out. The wife shouldnt mind right (lol)
