Hi everyone. I have a 21" long Tiger Shovelnose Catfish that is housed in a 180 gallon aquarium. This fish was approximately 3" long when I purchased it over 5 years ago. Except for a brief stint with a Red Devil for about a year (they got along swimmingly until the Red Devil built a nest last Spring), the Shovelnose has lived alone. My dilemma is that I have an Arrowana and a Giraffenose catfish that are outgrowing their 65 gallon tank. I really don't want to buy another 180 gallon tank for them, but before I consider that option I wanted to ask you whether the Shovelnose will outgrow his tank. He gets fed every other day and seems quite content. If the Shovelnose will outgrow his current quarters, then I would make arrangements to find him a suitable home, and move the Arrowana and the Giraffenose Catfish into the 180 gallon. The Arrowana was initially placed in with the Shovelnose when we purchased him 2 years ago, but the Shovelnose beat up the Arrowana and I had to remove it. I don't think the Shovelnose will tolerate any tankmates at this point. I have attached below photos of these fish. Your thoughts and advice are appreciated. Thank you.

Ya 5 years cant be right...they should hit 24" in as soon as a year even from 3". Im surprised he hasent bailed or broken the 180 yet. I thought stunting due to tank size was nonsense but this just very well may be the case. I'd sell the tsn to someone with a real tank for it and put the giraffe in the 180. Also aros fit/fold quite nicely in the bellies of large cats :) had plenty of aros turn to snacks in my day ur lucky urs made it out lol...
