Could I keep a lima shovelnose cat in a 150, and could I have anything else in with it(if so, any ideas what?)What is good to feed them?

We have three in a 150 with a few peacock bass, red terror female, jack dempsey females, and a royal knife. They all get along well.Ours love Massavoir pellets, worms, chopped up shrimp, and silversides. They are fun cats and we plan on eventually trying to breed these cats in a 240 or a 360.Make sure the other fish you keep with the Limas are bigger then there mouths.

Here are a few pictures of our gang

Wow they look cool! Would they be good for life in a 150 with a peakok bass or another midwater predatory fish? I'm only 12 so i'm usually pretty low on budget for upgrades; its practically a miracle I got the 150!

While the LSN is predatory its not really aggressive. Just make sure it can't eat its tank mates. Smaller fish will disappear.

Thats why I like shovelnose;I want to have some other interesting and large predators in with him! Any ideas on an interesting predator that would be too big to eat? I like fish like eels, sharks, rays, barracuda ,any ideas on similar freshwater fish that could go with it?

Most of the time Large cichlids only seem to nip at LSN when they are hogging all the food or in the way....one thing I will mention is that I previously had one with a foot long albino oscar that had some "HeaVy" output...that stressed him out all of the time...even after I tripled my turn over rate it still wasnt enough to avoid him getting sick and passing away after 9 months...most other large cichlids should be ok but POWERFUL filtering is always needed....
